Healing in Process

Healing in Process is a coffee table cast in pigmented alabaster plaster, made in an edition of 8 as part of the Maladaptive Patterns collection. The name says it honestly. Healing is not an event, it is a process, slow and uneven, with progress you only notice when you stop and look back. We wanted a piece that keeps that truth at the centre of a home, on the table where daily life actually happens, the coffee, the conversations, the quiet evenings in between. Like the rest of the collection, it gives a psychological state a body, not to decorate the subject but to keep it gently in the room. Repair deserves to be seen, not hidden. Each table is cast and carved by hand, and no two are the same. It felt wrong to make them identical. No two healings are either.
