Form No_01

Form No.001 is a standing sculpture cast in alabaster plaster and carved by hand, made in black or white. It is part of the Forms collection, our study of the contrast between the absence of symmetry and the sensation of stability. It should not balance the way it does, and yet it does. That contradiction is the whole piece. Each one is carved by hand and differs a little from the next.
