Tension
Tension is a wall lamp in a sand tone, shaped in ceramic and fired in bisque, its surface left unglazed. It is made in an edition of 8. The form holds a quiet tension in its contours, and the light deepens it, casting shadows that shift as the day turns to evening. We leave the ceramic unglazed to keep the surface alive to the touch, closer to stone than to gloss. Fired and finished by hand, each Tension carries its own texture.
