Buddy Collection

Buddy is a collection of small sculptures made to keep company. They are shaped by hand in ceramic and fired in bisque, which gives them a texture that feels closer to skin than to gloss.

We made the first Buddy for the people who sometimes feel alone, as a simple and sincere object that carries the warmth of a good friend. The forms are rounded, abstract and familiar without depicting anything, and most can stand in more than one position. There is no correct way to place a Buddy. You turn it until it resonates, and that angle is yours.

Each one is made by hand and comes out with its own posture and character, which is exactly what you would want in a friend.
