bosei

08/22

The Bosei is a one-of-a-kind gypsum pendant lamp. The title translates to "motherhood" in Japanese. While sculpting, we looked for a correlation between protection and comfort. We created a shape which looks and feels different from both sides and represents these opposing qualities.

ikigai

The title derives from a Japanese concept that translates to “the reason for being.” In summary, it is what motivates each individual to get out of bed every morning. The idea was to inspire and let wonder while watching the lamp every evening in order to wake up full of energy and motivation to life.
